If the state says your exempt – then don’t give in – tech must scare the township judging from their website’s standards. I wonder if every home in the town threw out an old PC next week if they may wish you could still refurbish and recycle them. If the township has ever donated – why not send them a bill for the work in taking the stuff away

You only have to have a look at the townships website to see why they may hate a group with technology connections – they dont seem big on recycling either – maybe if every home in town threw out an old computer the same week they may find a need for you guys – don’t give in – the state says your exempt – so fight it. Who ever is this Ruth Blake and Sue Klienmen is should be jailed for improper tax assessment. I don’t care if they make excuses up that their superiors sent them in to do this, they have a job to investigate properly and it’s obvious they are not doing their job.

I really can’t imagine anyone who would be against this for any reason! Unless you pissed off someone in the past, and now they’re trying to get revenge, but I wish we knew who that person was, so we could show them the kind of support TGG has.
I doubt it is that much of a conspiracy folks. It has been my experience in this town, that if you piss off the wrong person, you will feel the sting. Again, I am not sure how they can even do what they did. I’d be really interested in how they think they can do this without a change in tax codes (Fed, State, County, or City)

I don’t see how the township you reside in could have possibly made this big of a blunder. There is just no conceivable reason. Which leads us to conclude that the government has some twisted agenda against the geek group.

Even former IRS agents resigned after they found out that there is no law in America that tells you to pay TAX AT ALL.
